Transforming a Ranch into a Wedding Venue in Ramona, CA
A client came to us with a vision: to transform their former residence and ranch house into a rustic, elegant wedding venue nestled in the hills of Ramona, CA.
Their goal was to create a space that embraced the region’s natural beauty—earthy, open, and distinctly Southern California. They wanted the venue to offer flexibility for events year-round, while also staying true to the desert climate and minimizing landscape upkeep.
We designed a serene olive tree grove as the primary ceremony space, bringing in a mix of native and drought-tolerant plants to create a peaceful, low-maintenance environment. Careful attention was given to grading and drainage to ensure smooth experiences in any season.
Today, the venue hosts hundreds of weddings and events annually—and has become one of the most sought-after destinations in the area.
