Turning an Outdated House into a Modern Mansion in Poway, CA
In the heart of the mid-80s, a French country-style residence underwent a breathtaking transformation into a bastion of contemporary luxury. Envisioned predominantly in black and white, this transformation unfolded across every facet of the space. The basement evolved into a sophisticated man cave, boasting a full bar, a custom wine room, and a recording studio enveloped in RGB lighting for entertainment and creative pursuits.
On the main floor, a grandeur kitchen emerged with dual islands, sinks, and commercial-grade appliances, enclosed in European-style frameless cabinets that tripled storage. The living room witnessed a striking transformation with modern straight lines, leather-finished granite, and panoramic sliding glass walls. The second floor offered personalized bedrooms and opulent bathrooms, including a master bath sanctuary with a steam shower, standalone tub, and a coffee nook overlooking the hills.
Externally, new casement windows, contemporary stucco, and a Standing Seam Metal Roof modernized the space. Smart home technology orchestrated security, window coverings, heating, and more. The grounds now host a professional training facilities, a sand pit, and an NFL-grade running turf, completing this narrative of personalized luxury.
