This Scripps Ranch home needed an upgrade to match the needs of a growing family. The original patio was too small for gatherings, and the homeowners wanted a larger, more functional space to entertain year-round.

They envisioned an extended covered patio with a full outdoor kitchen, a built-in fireplace, and overhead heaters. They also wanted to integrate artificial turf for a well-kept look that required minimal upkeep but still felt natural and lush.

With those goals in mind, DCarson Constructions designed a cohesive outdoor living area built for intentional use. The new patio blends seamlessly with the existing home, while the landscape strikes a balance between beauty and practicality. Every detail—from materials to layout—was chosen to elevate both function and aesthetic, creating a space where the family can host, relax, and enjoy the outdoors year-round.
